HORA sagt

What happens when contemporary dance is viewed from perspectives that rarely find space in conventional discourse?

As part of the Steps programme, actors from Theater HORA watched every production in the current festival. Their observations, thoughts and recommendations form the core of this project. In twelve short videos, they speak about what they saw, felt and remembered.

This is not about evaluation in the conventional sense, but about perception: rhythm, presence, repetition, irritation and joy. About what remains.

The accompanying still images and selected quotations condense these impressions into fragmentary moments—an invitation to look and listen more closely.

The project was developed in close collaboration with Tanzfestival Steps and Theater HORA and marks the second edition created together. It contributes to a broader view of art: open, polyphonic and beyond normative forms of expertise.
